Welcome to Bay Area Divers

home of the

'Get Wet' scuba club!

Join Bay Area Divers Scuba Club

Bay Area Divers SCUBA club location is in the south Houston / Clear Lake / Galveston Texas area.

BAD strives to provide opportunities to dive locally in order to improve skills and

offers affordable scuba dive trips abroad.  Check out the photos

Our local dives gives new divers the chance to practice and to dive with seasoned veterans.

It provides experienced divers a reason to get wet (and we never get enough of that!)

If you are a visitor to our site and are in the Houston area, please come to our dive club monthly meeting.

The general public is welcome and encouraged to attend our activities.

Social starts at 7pm - General Meeting at 7:30pm

This month, Kelly Drinnen of Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary  will be doing the presentation. A lot has happened at the Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary
within the past year.  A new research vessel was christened, a major hurricane plowed through the sanctuary then visited the offices, and a manta catalog was compiled.  Come find out more about all of these changes and discover  what you've been missing in the Gulf of Mexico.

Including what to look for and compare to select the right trip. Bill will contrast and compare the Cozumel trip but would like to point out things to consider and compare when planning a dive trip.

One of the perks to being a B.A.D. member is the great diving opportunities offered through the club. Bill's trip is scheduled for the last week in July and is touted to be one of the best diving values available. Come and learn more about this great trip from Bill and many of our members who have gone on this trip in years past.
